In 2019, Topdanmark has achieved a number of good CSR results – e.g. in respect to increased recycling and repair as well as helping customers with stress or after a severe injury. But first and foremost, we have made several significant decisions.
Our CSR goals have been set based on the UN’s Global Compact principles and the UN’s Sus-tainable Development Goals. We want to show that as an organisation we take these climate changes very seriously. Therefore, we have set a goal of becoming CO2 neutral by 2030.
In addition, we want to contribute to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals based on an as-sessment of which goals we can affect the most in a positive way as a financial company: Good health and well-being, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
We have been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2010 and are committed to the 10 universal principles regarding human rights, workers’ rights, environment and corruption. We interpret the principles so that they create value for us and the world around us.
