In June 2022, Topdanmark joined the Science Based Targets initiative, an international alliance supported by the UN, which helps companies ensure that their climate goals live up to the Paris Agreement.

We support the goal of limiting climate change. The more unpredictable and extreme weather also has implications for our own business. Therefore, in 2019, we have defined an ambitious goal of being CO2-neutral by 2030, in terms of the operation of our buildings, company transport and air transport.

In recent years, there has been an increasing focus on the negative environmental consequences of disposable plastic, especially when it ends up in nature. Topdanmark has decided to also reduce the use of single-use plastic items - both in the canteen and in other operations.
