To make it as easy as possible to apply for a position at Topdanmark, we have decided that the applicants should no longer send a traditional motivated application, but instead only send a CV.

Send only your CV

Your CV is our only mean to assess whether we should invite you to an interview. Therefore, the CV should include a clear description of your experience and qualifications, and you can also include a short motivation to why you are applying for the job. It is important that both your personality and your strengths are highlighted.

Before you write

Check the job posting and be honest with yourself; Are you equal to the job described in the posting? If you have any doubts on what the job requires and whether it is the right match for your competencies, you can call the contact person listed in the posting. Apply for the job, if it is clear to you why you are the right candidate.

We also recommend that you read more about Topdanmark as a workplace and your conditions of employment.

Tips for your CV

Your CV should include facts on work experience, education, competencies, and general qualifications relevant to the position. Under each previous position, you can write the tasks you performed as well as your responsibilities – preferably as bullet points.

It will be an advantage if the introduction to your CV includes a short description of your motivation for applying for the position as well as why your profile is relevant.

Usually, you should not enclose other attachments unless stated in the job posting. However, you can bring examples of your work and other relevant papers to the personal interview.

A piece of good advice: Get someone to read it

Check your CV by having someone you trust read it. Does it provide a true presentation of you, and does it focus on the right things relative to the position you are applying for? At the same time, check spelling and language, whether you are being honest, and whether you are selling yourself well enough.
